Hot water, lemon, honey water for 10 days

Good morning 🍋8,

Ny here👋🏽

Lately I’ve been feeling very sluggish, tired, and overall DRAINED😫 I must admit that I have been in honeymoon phase with my boo and have gained a significant amount of extra weight, but now that we’re a year in, I must get back on track with better eating habits and regular exercise. I’m also trying to get physically and mentally prepared for a new coaching position that I’m taking on versus my old office/desk job (major change!)

I saw a hilarious video of an older lady recommending to her coworker to drink hot water, lemon, and honey to lose weight. The recipe has also been recommended to me years ago to help with my sinuses and mucus so I’m talking this as an opportunity to final try it. Let’s see how it goes! 😊 Have any of you drank this recipe or plan to? If you have drank it please share with me your experiences and results! #lemon #honey #drinkyourwater #waterdetox #howtodrinkmorewater #drinkyourlemonwater #bodytransformation #Lemon8Diary #lemonwaterdetox #summerbod

... Read moreHi everyone! So, like many of you, I've been feeling a bit off lately – tired, sluggish, and let's be honest, those extra pounds have crept on. I've heard so much about the benefits of hot water with lemon and honey, and after seeing it pop up everywhere, I finally decided to dive into a 10-day challenge. It's not just about shedding weight for me; I'm hoping it'll help clear up that persistent stuffiness and give me an overall energy boost to tackle my new coaching role. Many people wonder, 'What's the big deal with this simple drink?' Well, from what I've gathered and felt, there's quite a bit to it! Firstly, for those of us looking for a 'cleanse' or 'detox,' this drink is often celebrated for giving your digestive system a gentle nudge. The lemon juice is known to stimulate digestion and can help your body flush out toxins, while the warm water itself aids in bowel regularity. It's not a harsh cleanse, but more of a supportive start to your day. Then there's the weight loss aspect, which is a major draw for many of us, myself included! While it's certainly not a magic potion, drinking this in the morning can kickstart your metabolism. The pectin fiber in lemons can help you feel full longer, potentially reducing cravings throughout the day. Plus, choosing this over sugary sodas or juices is a huge win for cutting down on empty calories. Being well-hydrated is crucial for weight management, and this delicious drink makes it easier to hit your daily water goals. Beyond digestion and weight, I'm also keen on the immune-boosting properties. Lemon is packed with Vitamin C, which is fantastic for keeping colds at bay. And honey? It’s a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory powerhouse. I remember being told years ago to drink this for my sinuses and mucus, and I'm really hoping to see some relief there. The soothing warmth of the drink can also be incredibly comforting for a scratchy throat or congestion. Making it is super simple, but a few tips can enhance your experience. Always use fresh lemon juice – about half a lemon per mug of water. For the honey, go for raw, unfiltered honey if you can, as it retains more of its beneficial enzymes. And the water temperature is key: think warm, not boiling, so you don't destroy the beneficial properties of the lemon and honey. Speaking of water, starting with good quality water, perhaps even natural alpine spring water, can make a difference in taste and purity. I've even seen folks add a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper for an extra metabolic kick, or a slice of ginger for added anti-inflammatory benefits – something I might try later in my journey! Remember, this isn't a standalone solution. For real, lasting changes, it's about combining this healthy habit with balanced eating and regular exercise. But as a daily ritual, I'm finding it’s a refreshing and positive way to begin each day. I’m only a few days in, but I already feel a subtle shift in my energy levels. I’d love to hear if any of you have tried this and what your results were!
