Little tip if you’re afraid of getting ur ears pie

... Read moreMany people feel nervous or afraid before getting their ears pierced, which is completely normal. Understanding the process and knowing how to prepare can greatly reduce anxiety. First, do some research on reputable piercing studios with trained professionals who emphasize hygiene and safety. This will provide peace of mind that the procedure will be done correctly. Before your appointment, avoid caffeine or other stimulants that might increase your sensitivity to pain or anxiety. Try practicing deep breathing exercises or mindfulness techniques to calm your nerves. You can also bring a friend or family member to provide moral support during the piercing. During the procedure, focus on steady breathing and remind yourself that the discomfort lasts only a few seconds. Many describe the sensation as a quick pinch rather than persistent pain. After the piercing, follow all aftercare instructions carefully to prevent infection and promote healing. This typically includes cleaning the area regularly with a saline solution and avoiding touching the new piercing with unwashed hands. If fear is significant, talk to the piercer beforehand about your concerns. They can explain every step of the process to help you feel more in control. Remember, ear piercing is a common and safe practice when done professionally. A little preparation and positive mindset can turn your fear into excitement for your new look.

I personally wouldn’t go to Claire’s 😭 I had a bad reaction to earrings from there

Do not go to Claire’s! I used to work there! The guns permanently damage ears, we got trained on stuffed animals, and we are taught to sell the earrings that are more expensive and more likely to get infected.
