Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter, easier than you think
I think people don’t realize how easy it is to make your own sweet yummy butters❤️. Here’s how I made mine for the fall season.
🍁What you’ll need🍁
-Small container of whipping cream
-Salt
-Cinnamon
-brown sugar
-either a hand or stand mixer
🍂How to make it🍂
1.) pour the whipping cream into your bowl and turn on the mixer.
2.) wait for it to start separating. You’ll see it turned in to whipped cream, keep mixing it.
3.) it will have turned into a mound of butter, your going to want to stop the mixer
4.) This is the most confusing step, you’re going to want to wash out the buttermilk from the butter (save the buttermilk for other fun recipes). If you have a cheese cloth this can be very helpful. But, If not, just knead it like you’re playing with clay under cold water. It won’t separate because butter is hydrophobic.
5.) The butter should be slightly cold, leave it out covered. This will get it to room temperature and then you can mix in your sugar and spice.
6.) If you want a stick of butter or it to be hard (best used for baking, makes fall taste amazing) set the mixer to low as you mix in your goodies. For whipped butter, best for topping toast, pumpkin bread, or muffins, set the mixer to high.
7.) I used a little over a tablespoon of cinnamon and about 1/4 cup of brown sugar. I also added a pinch of salt and nutmeg.
8.) have fun with it!!! This is your butter, add different flavors according to your taste. This recipe also works great for honey butter. The great part about this recipe is that it’s so customizable to your preferences.
