In accordance with the Government's policy to prevent and suppress the smuggling of illegal goods into the country, Dr Ekhniti Nitipraphat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, gave the Customs a strict crackdown on illegal goods, in order to comply with the Government's policy, the Customs Department, by the Director General of Customs, Mr. Genthong Loigulnan, strictly undertook the policy and ordered all units to operate.

There is no evidence of customs clearance, which may be trademark infringing goods worth more than 10 million baht. The authorities then nationalized the goods with the truck, sent the 2nd customs office, and brought the accused to prosecution in accordance with the law. The case is an offence under the Customs Act 2017 and other relevant laws.
