One child, nine days old, received the Meningococcal vaccine.

Inject 2 needles at least 1 month apart.

* * It is the only vaccine that the doctor recommends to take the antipyretic immediately because injections in young children will cause high fever (some up to 39 C). The recommended drug is paracetamol.

Allow immediately after vaccination > > > > every 4-6 hours > > > > > 1 day long

But if day two still has a fever, you can eat.

First day:

11: 30 AM Vaccination Needle 1 (Bexsero cost 3,922 baht)

13: 00, take para medicine

20: 00 (fever) Take para.

Day two: No fever, just warm up, eat and play normally.

What I did to take care of my child with this fever

• (Summer) Night Bedtime Open Air Bedroom 23 C (usually open 24 C)

Wear short-sleeved shirt, three-part pants, non-thick fabric (normally wear long-sleeved pajamas, long legs)

• (Summer) During the daytime, open air around 25-26 C to stay comfortable, not cold, not too hot. Wear a shorts tank top.

• Wipe, take the medicine as the doctor says, and some parents are worried about taking antipyretics. For the mother, the paramedics keep the medicine as the doctor says, usually when the temperature is 37.5 C, it is wiped, and 37.8 C will start taking the paramedics, since you start getting the vaccine at four months, but many vaccines have a low fever, so you don't have to take the medicine.
