If You Like Mexican Food, You Gotta Try This Place
Tried this place for the first time a while back and was genuinely impressed—authentic flavors with creative twists. Just went again with friends, and it didn’t disappoint! Located in West Loop, it’s got that lively, young vibe—perfect for drinks, guac, and good conversation. We came to eat, and here’s what we got:
What We Ordered 🍜🥘🥗
📌 CT Guacamole (p3)
Classic, tangy, and super fresh—the perfect starter to share with chips.
📌 CT Pork Shank Pibil (p4)
Shredded pork packed with flavor—a little spicy (but totally doable if you like heat). The seasoning has this rich, almost earthy vibe, and the pickled onions on the side cut through the richness. Wrap it in a tortilla and you’ve got another taco!
📌 CT Asada Taco (p5)
We went with the shrimp version—loaded with toppings and fresh, well-seasoned shrimp. Every bite was balanced and tasty.
📌 CT French Fries (p6)
I mean… fries are always a yes.
📌 CT Mini Trompo Al Pastor (p1-2)
A MUST ORDER. I call it “the flaming pineapple” — so fun to watch, even better to eat. Comes served like in p2, then plated. The sweet-tart pineapple with the savory-spicy pork is just chef’s kiss. I had four tacos’ worth and still wanted more.
