「KANNON COFFEE kichijoji（観音コーヒー吉祥寺店）」は、店内の木のベンチ席と大きな窓の組み合わせが気持ちよくて、外の植物が見えるだけで一気に“癒しカフェ”感が増します。私は休日の昼に行きましたが、タイミングが良いと混みすぎず、静かに過ごせるのが嬉しいポイントでした。 アクセスは吉祥寺駅からだと少し歩く距離なので、暑い日や子ども連れだと「どう行くか」を先に決めておくのがおすすめです。私は車で行きましたが、近くにコインパーキングがありました。ベビーカーの場合も、店内が比較的広めで通りやすい印象。窓際の丸テーブル席は、外の緑が見えて気分転換になるので、空いていたらまずそこを狙いたいです。 メニューはコーヒーだけでなく、エスプレッソ系や紅茶、さらにキッズドリンクが用意されているのがありがたいところ。子どもはドリンクよりアイスが気分な日も多いので、巨峰アイスクリームがあるのも助かりました。大人は自家製バニララテがやさしい甘さで、アイスコーヒーはすっきり系。甘いものと合わせても重たくなりにくかったです。 スイーツ目当てなら「かぼちゃのプディング」は要チェック。私は“10:00頃から販売”という情報を目安に、午前寄りの時間帯に合わせるのが安心だと思いました。むっちりした食感で満足感があり、上の生クリーム＋シナモンの香りが秋っぽくて好み。焼き菓子コーナーもあって、ショートブレッドなどは手土産にしやすいサイズ感でした。 過ごし方のコツとしては、店内利用でもテイクアウトでもOKな雰囲気なので、「井の頭公園方面のお散歩前にコーヒーを買う」「帰りに焼き菓子を追加で持ち帰る」みたいに組み合わせるのも良かったです。緑を眺めながら、コーヒーとお菓子で一息つきたい日にぴったりの一軒でした。
