Announcement "I entered 🥐 freshly baked croissant" flows, immediately lined up. By the way, hot cake and fresh cream, egg, bacon and corn 🌽 soup. Freshly baked pizza 🍕 was sold at the roadside station, but S and M sizes were sold out, and it seems that only L sizes are available, so I decided to buy it again next time _ (: * ") _ 10 years later?
啄木亭の朝食バイキング、久しぶりに行って改めて「朝から幸せ…」ってなりました。私が特にテンション上がったのは、焼きたてクロワッサンのアナウンス。流れた瞬間に列ができるので、聞こえたらすぐ動くのが正解だと思います。焼きたては外サクッ、中ふわで、同じクロワッサンでも別物感がありました。 あと、いくら＆鮭のおにぎり。バイキングって「つい色々取りすぎる」問題があるので、おにぎりを入れるなら他を少なめにしておくと満足度が上がります。私はパンケーキ＋生クリームも欲しくなってしまい、結果的に“炭水化物×炭水化物”になりがちでした…。卵料理（スクランブルエッグ）やベーコン、コーンスープを挟むと、甘い→しょっぱいの無限ループで食べやすかったです。 デザート系はソフトクリーム食べ放題が地味にうれしいポイント。ただ、きれいに巻くのが難しくて毎回「なんか違う…」となります。コツとしては、最初にコーンの底までしっかり入れて土台を作ってから、コーンを少しずつ回しつつ、レバーを出し過ぎないこと。私は欲張って出しがちなので反省…。ソースの種類は時間帯で違うこともあるみたいなので、気になる味がある人は早めにチェックしておくと安心です。 そして函館・七飯町あたりで印象に残ったのが、巨大なじゃがいものオブジェが付いた街灯！遠くからでも「何あれ！？」って目立つので、初見だと笑っちゃいました。道の駅に着いた瞬間に目に入って、写真を撮りたくなるやつです。近くに「男爵コロッケ」ののぼりもあって、まさに“じゃがいも推し”の歓迎ムード。私は朝食を食べ過ぎてコロッケまで辿り着けなかったので、次回はここを目的地のひとつにして、お腹の余白を残して行くつもりです。 啄木亭の朝食も、函館のじゃがいもオブジェ（じゃがいも街灯）も、旅の思い出に残るタイプのスポットでした。ホテル朝食はつい後回しにしがちだけど、ここは「朝のために泊まる」のもアリだと思います。
