จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวในการออกแบบและตกแต่งบ้านสไตล์โมเดิร์นคลาสสิก ผมพบว่าการเลือกใช้วัสดุธรรมชาติอย่างหินกาบและไม้ไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยเพิ่มความแข็งแรงและอบอุ่นให้กับบ้าน แต่ยังสร้างความรู้สึกเชื่อมโยงกับธรรมชาติได้ดีมาก ในการออกแบบบ้านนี้ ผมชอบส่วนโค้งขนาดใหญ่ที่โอบล้อมระเบียงชั้นสอง เพราะช่วยทำให้บ้านดูนุ่มนวลและโดดเด่นกว่าบ้านทรงเรขาคณิตธรรมดา อีกสิ่งที่แนะนำคือการจัดแสงไฟโทนวอร์มไวท์ซึ่งเมื่อติดตั้งบริเวณทางเข้าและระเบียง จะช่วยเพิ่มความอบอุ่นและความหรูหราในเวลากลางคืน ไม่ทำให้บ้านดูแข็งกระด้างเหมือนแสงสีขาวธรรมดา การตกแต่งภูมิทัศน์โดยใช้ไม้พุ่มทรงกลมในกระถางและกล่องปลูกต้นไม้ยังเป็นวิธีที่ดีในการลดความรู้สึกแข็งของโครงสร้างปูนและหิน ซึ่งผมเองเคยทดลองปลูกไม้พุ่มหลายชนิดและพบว่าการตัดแต่งทรงกลมช่วยให้พื้นที่บ้านดูมีชีวิตชีวาและน่าอยู่มากขึ้นมาก สุดท้าย อยากแนะนำว่าการเลือกใช้โทนสีขาวครีมตัดกับโทนน้ำตาลของไม้และหินสามารถนำมาใช้ได้หลากหลายรูปแบบ จึงง่ายต่อการปรับเปลี่ยนการตกแต่งภายในบ้านในอนาคตโดยไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนโครงสร้างหลัก เช่น เปลี่ยนวัสดุผ้าม่าน พรม หรือเฟอร์นิเจอร์ ให้เข้ากับสีพื้นฐานของบ้านได้อย่างลงตัว
