ear piercings!!!
1st & 2nd: my first lobe was pierced when i was a baby so i barely remember, and i got my seconds in elementary school. from that one all i remember is a quick sting and that was mostly it. lobes are the least painful out of all the other piercings i’ve gotten.
3rd: my 3rd lobe piercing was a little different. i think because jt was higher up on my ear it stung more after getting it pierced, but once again the pain is there and then its gone, so once again lobes are pretty easy.
helix: my helix piercing was my first cartilage piercing i’ve gotten. i was definitely scared for it but it wasn’t nearly as bad as how i thought. the cartilage in that part of your ear is still pretty thin so the pain might not be too crazy. but nonetheless it still hurt to pierce and ached a bit after getting it pierced.
tragus: once again this piercing seemed intimidating because it was in the cartilage of my ear. especially for the tragus piercing it is a thicker area of the ear to pierce. so when getting it pierced it stung bad but was over in a second. the only complaint i have abt this one that makes it worse than the others is that it gave me a crazy headache up the side of my head i got it pierced on. but nothing tylenol couldn’t fix.
rook: my most recent ear piercing that i actually got today was crazy. the rook pierces thru 2 flaps of cartilage and while getting it pierced i felt it stop thru one flap and then push thru another flap. it was almost like two piercings in one. also the outer parts of my ear are now sore even tho i didn’t pierce those areas. altho the pain immediately went away after getting it pierced, it still comes back in aches now. the healing process is also way longer for this ear, so im hoping it goes by fast.
