きゅうりを家庭菜園で育てるのは、遅れても十分楽しめることを実感しています。私も種を見つけてから慌てて撒きましたが、芽が出るとわくわくが止まりませんでした。特にウリ科は場所を取るので、中庭のスペースとの相談が必要ですが、適切にネットを張れば、ツルを伸ばして効率よく育てられます。 きゅうりが育つ過程を観察するのは、趣味の園芸以上の癒しがあります。昨年は糠漬けにハマって、毎日の食卓を彩りましたが、飽きも来たので今年は新しい栽培方法や食べ方にも挑戦予定です。また、庭にいる猫たちが遊び場を失わないよう、家庭菜園のレイアウトにも気を配っています。これから植え替えとネット張りを実施して、よりよい環境作りに励みます。皆さんも遅くても諦めず、種から育てる楽しさを味わってみてはいかがでしょうか。
