My IG account is drastically dying
NOV.2023 I had 55k drastically going down to almost 50k. Which IG doesn’t show 50k of my followers if anything maybe show 5% or 10% of my audience. I get lucky if I get 150 likes in a post. Only 100-200 followers see my stories . Thinking about quitting IG. Which hurts me so much I’ve been trying to do everything to get noticed by IG again. My following grew quickly in 2021-2022 because of tik tok but even then I’m also struggling with tik tok too🥲
Growing your Instagram account can feel daunting, especially when you notice a sudden drop in follower count and engagement. After experiencing a decline from 55k to almost 50k followers, many users might contemplate quitting the platform. To combat this, it's essential to understand the factors at play. Firstly, engagement is key. Instagram's algorithm favors posts that receive interactions quickly after they’re published. To enhance visibility, captivate your audience with compelling content and encourage comments to promote algorithmic favor. Place calls-to-action in your posts and stories to invite followers to share their thoughts or tag friends. Additionally, consider the timing of your posts. Utilize Instagram Insights to determine when your followers are most active and schedule your content accordingly. Experiment with posting times and frequency to identify what works best for your audience. Incorporating trending content, especially from platforms like TikTok, can also contribute to revamping engagement. Short videos, challenges, or current trends resonate with audiences and can attract new followers. Don’t hesitate to fuse popular trends with your unique style, ensuring authenticity. Moreover, maintaining a strong presence on multiple platforms is crucial. Interactions across social media can lead users back to your Instagram. Share your Instagram content on TikTok, create Facebook groups, or engage with communities on Lemon8 to inspire and reel followers in. Lastly, consistent interaction is vital. Respond to comments, engage with follower content, and build relationships. The more you interact, the more connected your audience feels to you, increasing the likelihood of them remaining followers. By implementing these strategies, even amid a decline, users can revitalize their Instagram presence and turn the tide towards growth.

Same. I had 43k now it’s down to 36k. I still post and I’m booked in real life but online it poorly reflects the status or my business. It’s frustrating seeing the numbers dwindle, but if ppl are still purchasing I would say focus on that.
