山形県の魅力を改めて感じたのは、楯山公園からの最上川の絶景でした。高台から見下ろすと、地形に沿って蛇行する川の流れと、山々が織りなす風景はどこか懐かしく心が洗われます。訪れる人も少なく、ゆったりと自然を堪能できるのが嬉しいポイントです。 楯山公園の近くにある「いとうそばや」では、新そばの季節に立ち寄るのが おすすめ。私も初めて食べましたが、蕎麦の香り高さとコシの強さに驚きました。揚げたてのげそ天と旬のきのこ天ぷらは、地元の食材の旨みが引き立っていて、東北ならではのご当地グルメを肌で感じられます。 また、七ツ滝は想像以上の自然の奥深さを感じるスポットでした。落差約90mの二段滝は迫力というより静寂が心地よく、歴史ある六十里越街道沿いの自然美とともに癒しの時間を提供してくれます。紅葉の季節は特に色づいた木々が滝の周囲を彩り、まさに絶景です。 さらに、七ツ滝の近くにある大鳥池には巨大魚「タキタロウ」の伝説もあり、地域の文化や歴史に触れる楽しみもあります。昔ながらの街道の面影が残るこのエリアは、歴史好きや自然愛好者にもおすすめです。 ドライブをしながら、山形の自然と食文化、歴史を同時に楽しめるこのコースは、都会の忙しさから離れたい方や、秋の旅行を計画中の方にぴったりです。私の体験から言えるのは、何度訪れてもまた新たな発見がある、そんな場所だということ。ぜひ次の山形訪問の参考にしてみてください。
