OPEN LETTER TO CLARESSA SHIELDS! A long read but it's necessary because im sick of what I am seeing on my page any time i post you. I want you to know that I see the Beauty in you. I see your intelligence , your good heart, your drive and determination, your strength and outgoing personality. I see all the mean, ugly and nasty comments that your own people leave on the internet any time your picture is posted. It doesn't matter if you win a fight, give back to the community, doing a tik tok dance, training, eating breakfast, telling your truths, just sitting ring side at a fight, winning belts or gold medals for your country. People are hating , being mean and disrespecting you in the worse way. You can do what 999 other people do and you are the only one they want to insult for it. And what makes it worse is that it's black women. They wanna talk about your name, your hair, your body, your clothes , how u talk & how you walk. I posted a dope photo of NIECEY NASH dressed as u on HALLOWEEN and people are even taking that opportunity to bash you rather than salute how the couple nailed it! These people are jealous, miserable, ugly hearted and don't want to appreciate or even acknowledge the GREATNESS u have displayed since the OLYMPICS. Aint nobody dressing up as them . They want to see you lose and fall to feel better about themselves not being able to accomplish nothing. I've watched Professional BOXING events where they try to purposely exclude your accolades and say something has never been achieved in Boxing when you was the one who did that already and did something not even MEN have accomplished. And when u correct them you're the bad guy who needs to be humble. People will pick fights with u and when u defend yourself and say something back thats all they wanna look at and treat u like u are the bully who started it when u didn't . Love those who love you and for everyone else FUCKEM!
They want to see your history erased or kept a secret even after winning Gold twice for your country. Despite how strong I know you are I know this is hurtful, annoying, frustrating and can be stressful. You're only human. But continue to use these clowns as fuel to drive you to more GREATNESS. God sees their ugliness and he didn't make no mistakes choosing you to be in this position. Many people would have turned to drugs and alcohol and killed themselves being in your shoes because its extremelyhard dealing with that type of pressure not only as a person but as a BLACK WOMAN. He knew u could handle what comes with the gifts and talents he gave you. There is NOBODY like you and you are special! Always remember their opinions aren't FACTS. And no matter how many times they repeat the same stupid shit it doesnt make it true. They are here to do the Devils work to cause confusion and distract you from the LORDS plan. Hoping you lose FOCUS and CRASH OUT. Just always keep your eyes on the prize baby girl. There are people who love you, support you and admire the person and CHAMPION you are and the ones who don't see it or appreciate it can miss out . There has never been a female fighter like you. You are THE ONE! And with that comes with alot of haters and demons of the devil to try and destroy who you are because u are highly favored by GOD. I recognize alot of what u go thru because I'm not even a celebrity or famous and I deal with the same type of hate. No matter what good I do or say there are trolls, haters and evil people being negative even if I say " Everyone have a good day". They will hate u & watch everything u do. Go to every video or post u make seeking your attention by criticizing or disrespecting you. Good people don't do this. I know for a fact Im in God's favor & he made me different. A KING recognizes a QUEEN and someone anointed can recognize when someone else is. Just know that I admire what GOD created in you and I think you're perfect just the way you are.
