I saw so many incredible artisans selling everything from intricate jewelry (which totally reminded me of my own earrings!) to beautiful home decor. It's the perfect place to find something truly one-of-a-kind. One of my top tips for enjoying a Christmas market is to go with an open mind and a big appetite! You absolutely have to try the local food offerings. I indulged in some amazing roasted nuts and a warm pretzel – pure comfort food on a chilly day. Don't forget to grab a festive drink too, whether it's spiced cider or a rich hot chocolate. It really adds to the whole sensory experience. Another piece of advice: dress warmly! Even if it seems mild when you leave home, outdoor markets can get quite cool, especially as evening approaches. Layering up is key, and a good scarf (you know I love my red one!) and comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be doing a lot of walking and browsing. I always find that being comfortable makes the adventure so much more enjoyable.
