I returned my iPhone 17 🥲
I decided that it was time for a change from my 4 year old iPhone 13 Pro Max and decided to get iPhone 17 (the basic model) but returned it after 5 days. Here’s why:
1) the battery life sucks
I would say that I’m a pretty average user, not too long, not too short and I only needed to charge my phone once every 2 days. Now I’m charging twice every day 🥲
2) laggy, apps crashing
I don’t ever quit my apps so probably that’s why? But it has never happened to my iPhone 13 Pro Max before! My TikTok was lagging (and I couldn’t buy the limited 10.10 item cos it CRASHED) and even carousell shut down multiple times.
What I loved though was the front camera 😍 and the camera button! The front camera is too clear that I can see my pores 😂 (actually bad for me) but I really love the quality! The camera button is also very convenient and useful, makes me feel professional when taking photos.
I wanted to change to the basic model at first because the pro max was really too big for me and I wanted to not spend so much but I guess using a pro max really pampered me. Will definitely be getting the 17 pro max when the silver one has stock! And also when my credit card bill reset so I can earn my miles haha.
Also the process of refund was really easy. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU RETURN WITHIN 14 DAYS IN PERFECT CONDITION. Just remove your Find My and factory reset. Pack back into the box with everything and bring it down to the shop to find the very friendly crew. They will check your e-invoice making sure it tallies then done! If you are using a CC, it will take around 3-5 working days from the day they receive it at the warehouse so it might eat into your next billing cycle. AppleCare will also be refunded if bought within 30 days. I checked on the web and they said there was a 25% open box fee so I called to check before going down! They said they don’t have a fee and the full amount will be refunded 👍🏼

If your changing from a pro max please change to a pro max or a similar spec , it can be a huge difference if it’s a downgrade.
