CAROUHELL EP 2 PART 2: JUST FOR $3 DISCOUNT

Later on she showed me pictures of “loose stitches” which you have to peel open the folds of the bag to see them (sorry I don’t even check the zips 😂). And apparently the loose stitches that she showed me earlier magically became loose threads 🙃

I’m totally fine with returns but my schedule is abit strange so I asked her to tracked mail me back the bag and will pn her once I have the bag.

But I guess someone have an even weirder schedule than me! Apparently she works 9am-11pm everyday and won’t be able to go singpost. Subsequently she said she said she was working Mon-Fri so I suggested for her to mail on Saturday which coincidentally she will be overseas 🙃 I asked if anybody could mail it for her NOPE. Mail it during her break but NOPE. I start work at 7am so I suggested to meet at 6am (I mean this is my last resort) but NOPE.

Then MAGICALLY she can meet at 730pm! She no longer ends work at 11pm such a BIG sacrifice asking her manager to let her leave work early…

In this story, the back-and-forth about whether the threads were loose stitches or just loose threads highlights the common issue of minor product imperfections that may or may not justify a discount. What made this situation particularly challenging was the seller’s work commitments — working 9am to 11pm daily leaves very little time for errands like mailing a return parcel. As a buyer, I can empathize with the difficulty of arranging a convenient pickup or drop-off time, especially if you start work early like 7am, which severely limits options. It’s common to try offering solutions such as meeting at unusual times (early mornings or late evenings) or asking someone else to assist with mailing, but sometimes those options just aren’t feasible. This kind of negotiation can feel like a test of patience, especially when both sides are trying to do their best but the constraints keep clashing. Tracking mail is a smart suggestion to ensure the return is processed safely, but without flexible timing, it can be really hard to get it done. One takeaway is that clear communication about schedules and realistic options upfront can help avoid frustration. Sellers might consider setting specific return windows or partnering with local drop-off points that don't require them to leave work early or reorganize busy days. If you find yourself in a similar situation, try to document the product issue clearly (photos help), be honest and patient in your communications, and explore all possible mailing options including using courier pickups that can come to your workplace. Returns don’t have to be a nightmare, but they do require understanding and flexibility on both sides.

What the heck. I think you need to put disclaimer ‘not for fussy buyers’. I don’t even check this thorough at physical shops 🫢🫢🫢
