Inspired handcraft In progress
This is a work in progress for a religious-inspired handcraft piece I’ve been slowly developing.
I’m not trying to recreate anything literal. What draws me in is the feeling behind devotion—the quiet repetition, the softness, the sense of care and protection.
Lace, fabric, and small figurative elements feel symbolic to me. They carry memory, ritual, and something deeply personal. While making this, I’ve been thinking about how handmade objects can hold emotional weight, not just aesthetic value.
What’s the first word that comes to your mind when you see this?
