How to knit

Mounting: Alligator chain, thin 6, pull out.

First stage (small petals): The following three times in the front half

Second stage (middle petal):

• Base: 2 thin eyes on the other half (total of 12 eyes)

• Petals: 3 times in the front half:

[(pull-out, chain, thin, medium-long), (length 2), (length 2), (medium-long, thin, chain, pull-out)]

Third stage (large petals):

• Base: Fine 1 on the other half, fine 2 for each additional stitch (total of 18 stitches)

• Petals: 3 times in the front half:

[(pull-out, chain, medium length, long), (long 2), (long 1), (long 1), (long 2), (long, medium length, chain, pull-out)]

The Foundation:

In a magic loop, ch 1, 6 sc. Join with slst.

Rnd 1 (Small Petals)

Make 3 petals in FLO:

[(slst, ch1, sc, dc), (dc, sc, ch1, slst)] x3

Rnd 2 (Medium Petals):

Base:

2 scin each BLO around (12 sts)

Petals:

Make 3 petals in FLO:

[(slst, ch1, sc, hdc), 2dc, 2dc, (hdc, sc, ch1, slst)] x 3

Rnd 3 (Large Petals):

Base:

(sc 1, inc) in BLO around (18 sts)

Petals:

Make 3 petals in FLO:

[(slst, ch1, hdc, dc), 2tr, tr, tr, 2tr, (dc, hdc, ch1, slst)] x3
