It really wasn't as hard as it looks, and the satisfaction of having a truly unique, handmade accessory is just amazing. I opted for a two-part epoxy resin, but UV resin can also work if you prefer faster curing times with a UV lamp. And for that mesmerizing glowing in the dark effect? I mixed some high-quality greenish-blue luminescence pigment powder directly into my resin. This powder is what gives it that ethereal glow when the lights go out, really making the koi pond come alive at night! Once my fimo clay pieces were baked and cooled, I started arranging them inside the clear phone case. This is where you can play around with your 3D koi pond design – decide where each koi will swim, where the lily pads float, and how the lotus will bloom. This first layer helps create depth and prevents air bubbles from getting trapped underneath your sculpted elements. Let it cure partially or fully, depending on the look you're going for. I usually do a few thin layers, allowing each to cure before adding the next, which really enhances the 3D koi pond design and gives a sense of realistic water depth. Once the final layer is poured and cured, you're left with a stunning, durable, and completely unique phone case! For anyone new to resin art or fimo clay, my biggest tip is to start simple. Don’t aim for perfection on your first try. Watch a few YouTube tutorials on sculpting tiny items with fimo clay, and always read the instructions for your specific resin brand.
