Just got back from my first ever europe trip! This capton is going to feel a little more like a blog entry so sit back book bestie and grab a cup of whatever beverage you prefer☕️🍸🫖
Ive seen a few videos about German books online but never in my wildest dreams could I have prepared myself for the magnificent details, colors, and sprayed edges. I was only able to take home three books all from Hugendubel , which I highly recommend this bookstore for all your bookish needs.
💜The first book I came across was Belladonna. It is one of my favorite series and book one I adore so I had to have it especially when I saw its glorious UK paperback cover. Practical for rereads and travel.
💚 Then I came across the TOG series hardback German editions and I almost passed out. They were so chunky and exquisitely detailed. I decided on only buying TAB mainly because when I saw the stag I completely lost it. It was so hard not to take them all but I came up with the brilliant idea that from now on everywhere I travel, I will collect a book from this series that I don’t already have and mix match to create a set in all languages. This helped me part ways, stay in budget, and gave me a quest of my own to look forward to.
💙 Lastly, I found Wrath Of The Dragons in UK paperback which I was already planning on ordering since Ive started collecting the series in that form. I didn’t need to pay for shipping or overseas fees plus in the states we don’t have both forms to choose from. I think it’s wonderful they had that option of paperback and hardback for newly released books.
🤍 Im an introvert at heart and it was a huge deal for me to leave to Europe for the first time. Im so happy I made the decision to get out of my comfort zone, experience new lands, alongside my family. So many memories and moments were made and I can’t wait to plan another one. But for now Im settling back into the comfort of my home, in my reading chair, catching up on worlds that are much easier to travel to.
