A Dance Of Lies 🪞Review & Quotes
This one danced its way into my heart. What a mesmerizing story showcasing pain, passion, and so much sacrifice. A push and pull of a delicate intensity that kept me on the edge of my reading chair.
Vasalie is now one of my favorite FMCs. I really could relate to this character and how she dealt with her grief using a form of art to heal. I loved her character growth and her awareness to her choices and trying to free herself from shackles that are made of metal and that are invisible. The first dance scene will live rent free in my mind and I will forever look for art work of it. Which I scoured the internet for my #fairyloot copy because of that scene and also for the bonus chapter.
The MEN in this. Thats all. Can’t give much away but @Brittney Arena spectacularly executes a character driven plot. Im so happy I didn’t see any romance spoilers because it was so different and I loved it. The many twists unraveled so deliciously and were unexpected. Writing this review has me reminiscing. I wish I could read it again for the first time. The wait for book two will be hard but I’ll just have to reread it soon.
Thank you to #delreybooks for this #gifted copy. You sent me my favorite book release of 2025 and I’m forever grateful.
