Retelling Stack 💫🧚🗝️🌛🏰

My book mail has a little theme lately. Thank you to all of the publishers for sending me these #gifted books.

Fairytales were a big part of my childhood and growing up. I love when an author can deconstruct what is familiar to me and expand its enchantment in a personal unique way.

A retelling: Underworld King & Spring Goddess

Favorite book by Elisa Kova! I just love the dynamics between everyone with the mystery buried so deep and lost in history paired with high tension that is built from the second Luella and Eldas meet. A beautifully written world with a twist on the beloved story of Hades and Persephone. Its quirky.
