As an avid reader and KDPG Influencer, receiving these gifted books has truly expanded my literary horizons. Among the notable titles are 'That Summer's End' by Lee Seong-bok, a captivating collection of poems beautifully translated by Anton Hur, which offers profound reflections on life's fleeting moments. Another intriguing read is 'The Butterfly Season' by Lea Korsgaard, where the author merges nature’s delicate mysteries with life’s deeper meanings through the symbolism of 64 butterflies—a perfect blend of natural science and personal insight. In addition, I was gifted a compelling uncorrected proof titled 'Don't Say Palestine: How the Media Manufactured Consent for Genocide' by Assal Rad, an eye-opening investigation into media narratives and their impact on public perception regarding critical geopolitical issues. This book is an essential read for those curious about media literacy and social justice. Also included is 'Land So Wide' by Erin A. Craig, a national bestseller that immerses readers in a rich narrative combining history and human drama. Lastly, I found 'You Don't Need a Smartphone: A Guide to DIY and Crading' to be a refreshing take on simplifying life through creativity and self-reliance. These diverse gifts from publishers not only enrich my reading experience but inspire me to think differently and explore new genres. I highly recommend these titles to anyone looking to diversify their book collection with thoughtful and impactful reads.
