Day 1 of me Remembering My Hobbies After Resigning From my Education Job
After stepping away from the structured world of education, I found myself with a precious opportunity to revisit and rekindle the hobbies I had set aside for years. Day 1 was both exciting and inspiring as I allowed myself to explore creative outlets like writing and freelancing—something I had always wanted to pursue but never had the time for during my teaching career. One of the greatest feelings was the freedom to choose projects that genuinely interest me, which is a refreshing change from the rigid classroom schedule I was accustomed to. I also realized how much writing can serve as a therapeutic and expressive hobby, giving me space to share stories and ideas that matter. Embracing freelance writing and ghostwriting opened doors to new communities and networks, fueling my motivation to develop further skills. This initial day was a reminder that hobbies are essential for personal wellbeing and growth. Whether through vlogging, drafting articles, or simply nurturing creative thoughts, reclaiming these passions after a career shift made me feel more balanced and alive. I’m excited to continue this journey and share the experiences with others who might be contemplating similar life changes or looking to prioritize their own hobbies again.
