Healing My Childhood, God’s Way 🤍✨

For a long time, I didn’t realize how much my childhood shaped the way I loved, trusted, and saw myself. I thought being “strong” meant staying quiet about what hurt. But JESUS met me in those hidden places and began healing what I carried for years. HE’s teaching me that what happened to me wasn’t my fault, and that I am safe, seen, and deeply loved. This healing is slow… but it’s real 🤍🌸 #healingwithgod #embracegodslove #healinginchrist #childoftheking🙌🏻✨✝️

... Read moreHealing from childhood trauma is often a gradual and deeply personal process. In my own experience, I realized that much of my pain stemmed from early survival instincts—staying strong, silent, and hidden instead of seeking comfort or expressing my feelings. This approach seemed necessary at the time but left behind unresolved wounds that affected my relationships and self-view. What truly transformed my healing journey was embracing faith and allowing Jesus to meet me in these vulnerable places. Learning that "what happened to me wasn’t my fault" and that "I am safe now" were revolutionary truths to internalize. The child inside me, who was once silenced and burdened with caring for others, finally had permission to feel and be heard. Faith provided a safe space to shed tears during prayer, set healthy boundaries, and redefine my worth. Jesus’s gentle restoration felt unlike anything else—it wasn't loud or immediate but slow, steady, and profoundly peaceful. Over time, this spiritual healing reshaped how I loved and trusted, proving that divine grace can repair even the deepest childhood wounds. If you resonate with surviving before learning safety or hiding pain to keep peace, know that healing is possible. Your story matters, and God's loving embrace can protect and restore you completely, gently undoing trauma’s grip. Allow yourself the grace to heal at your own pace, with Jesus as your guide.
