post shower night time routine

as a full time nursing student and mom, i have to find some me time in all the chaos that is my life. taking this time to every night to spend on myself has helped with that.

01. moisturizer: i love the way this feels on my skin all over, and it smells absolutely amazing.

02. i just recently got this tooth brush, i switched from the quip (hints the toothpaste they send when you replace the heads) and i love the way it feels after i brush my teeth.

03. i will die on a HILL for vanicream. i have extremely sensitive skin, usually nothing works for a face wash and everything always dried me out. but this face wash has been a game changer. also, i love good molecules, and i’ve recently started double cleansing and it’s helped so much- especially on days that i wear makeup.

04. it’s a few steps, but i love these products that i use for my skin care. again, super sensitive skin + i do have eczema and this is the only under eye cream ive tried so far that doesn’t dry me out.

05. vanicream ✨ and vaseline bc when i have dry patches on my face this is the only thing that doesn’t burn my skin.

06. can’t forget my daily allergy pill. i take it at night because my mornings are so hectic, and im literally allergic to everything so i can’t be forgetting to take it.

Establishing a night routine not only enhances personal wellness but also contributes to better sleep and overall health. Start with a gentle, effective facial cleanser like Vanicream, which is specially formulated for sensitive skin. Incorporating double cleansing helps remove impurities, especially after wearing makeup during the day. Additionally, moisturizing is crucial to keep your skin hydrated—consider products that contain Shea Butter, Vitamin E, or all-natural ingredients without harsh chemicals. A brush with advanced cleaning features can transform your dental hygiene routine; switching to one that provides thorough cleaning can improve oral health. Don't forget the importance of hydration and allergy management in your routine. Taking antihistamines, like cetirizine hydrochloride, in the evening can reduce allergy symptoms and lead to a more restful night. Embrace these small adjustments to create a nighttime ritual that nurtures both your body and mind, setting a positive tone for the day ahead.
