Yet another piercing 🖤

I've had one side for a while, and lately, I've just been feeling like I wanted to balance things out. The idea of having my nose pierced on both sides has been playing in my mind for months, and I figured, why not? Life's too short not to express yourself. The experience was surprisingly smooth. I always do my research to find a reputable piercer, and this time was no different. I picked out some simple, matching stud jewelry initially, knowing I can always change it up once it's fully healed. When it came to the actual piercing, I won't lie, there was a little pinch, but honestly, it was over before I knew it. The piercer was super professional, marked everything carefully to ensure perfect symmetry, which was really important to me for my double nose piercing look. Aftercare is crucial, especially when you have your nose pierced on both sides. It's double the responsibility! I've been diligently cleaning both piercings twice a day with saline solution, making sure not to touch them unnecessarily. Swelling and redness are totally normal in the first few days, but I've been keeping an eye out for any signs of infection. Sleeping can be a bit tricky at first, trying not to snag them, but I've found that using a travel pillow helps a lot to keep my face off the regular pillow. I've noticed a lot of people contemplating this look, wondering if getting the other side of my nose pierced is worth it. For me, absolutely! It adds a unique touch to my overall aesthetic. There are so many ways to style a double nose piercing – you could go with matching studs, a stud and a hoop, or even two different styles if you prefer an asymmetrical vibe. I'm already thinking about what kind of jewelry I'll get once these babies are healed. Maybe some tiny black gems or even small rings! It's definitely a commitment, and patience is key during the healing process, which can take several months for cartilage piercings. But seeing my reflection now, with my nose pierced on both sides, I feel like this was the perfect addition. If you're on the fence about getting a second nose piercing, I'd say go for it if it truly resonates with you. Just make sure to choose a good piercer and follow all their aftercare instructions. This whole journey of getting the other side of my nose pierced has been super empowering and I love the final look!
