Closer to the main island, Luquillo Beach was another fantastic find, perfect for a relaxed day with calm waters. For those wondering about getting around, I found renting a car was super helpful for exploring beyond San Juan, especially for places like El Yunque and other beaches. In San Juan itself, ride-sharing apps were readily available. And of course, the food! You absolutely HAVE to try mofongo; it's a staple, and every restaurant has its own twist.
