Raging my empties!!!

... Read moreOkay, so you saw my rapid-fire empties review, but I wanted to dive a little deeper, especially since so many of you asked about the Bliss Makeup Melt Jelly Cleanser! Finishing up a product, especially a cleanser, always gives me the best perspective, right? Let's really talk about the Bliss Makeup Melt. It's a jelly cleanser, and my initial thoughts were all about how amazing it was at dissolving makeup. Seriously, it's a champ for getting off foundation and even stubborn mascara. I found it worked best for me as a first cleanse in my double-cleansing routine. Iโ€™d apply it to dry skin, massage it in to really break down everything, then add a little water to emulsify before rinsing. It leaves your skin feeling super clean, which is awesome. However, I did mention in my quick review that I wished it was a bit gentler on the eyes. If you have super sensitive eyes like mine, you might experience a slight sting, especially if youโ€™re rubbing too vigorously. My tip? Use a separate eye makeup remover first, or be extra gentle around the delicate eye area when using this. And for those of us who prefer everything fragrance-free, this one does have a scent. It's not unpleasant, but something to note if you're sensitive to fragrance in your skincare. Despite these minor points, it's still a solid pick for its makeup-melting power, especially if you're not overly sensitive to fragrance or have a separate eye makeup remover. Beyond the cleanser, let's revisit some of those other skincare empties. That hydro-gel moisturizer was a lifesaver, especially during warmer months. I loved how it absorbed quickly without feeling heavy. If you're looking for something lightweight yet effective, a hydro-gel is often the way to go. I used it both morning and night, and it layered beautifully under SPF and makeup. And then there was the hyaluronic dew cream. Oh, this one! It was incredibly hydrating, making my skin feel plump and dewy. But I have to echo my earlier thought: it was a tad sticky for my liking, and a pump applicator would have truly elevated the experience. To combat the stickiness, I found applying it to slightly damp skin and then letting it fully absorb for a few minutes before moving on to the next step helped a lot. Hyaluronic acid is such a powerhouse for hydration, so if you can get past the texture, the benefits are real. Just gently pat it in, don't rub too much! Finally, that lip mask. Seriously, a skincare staple! I rated it perfectly, and for good reason. My lips tend to get really dry, and using this every night made such a huge difference. I'd slather on a generous layer before bed, and wake up with soft, hydrated lips. If you're struggling with chapped lips, incorporating a good lip mask into your nightly routine is a game-changer. Consistency is key! Rating empties isn't just about what I liked or didn't like; it's about helping us all make smarter choices for our skincare routines. Itโ€™s a great way to truly assess if a product earned its spot in your everyday life. Hopefully, these deeper dives help you decide if any of these empties deserve a spot in your routine next!
