Vanilla poundcake French toast

I wanted something extra sweet, so I used pound cake instead of regular bread for this French toast… and yeah, this might be my new favorite.

Soft, buttery pound cake cooked until golden, then topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, powdered sugar, and a sweet drizzle. It’s rich, slightly crisp on the outside, and melts in your mouth with every bite.

Ingredients:

• Pound cake slices

• Eggs

• Milk

• Cinnamon

• Vanilla

• Sugar

• Strawberries + blueberries

• Powdered sugar

• Sweet drizzle (icing or glaze)

Steps:

1. Whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar

2. Dip pound cake slices lightly (don’t soak too long)

3. Cook until golden on both sides

4. Top with fruit, powdered sugar, and drizzle

5. Serve warm

Using pound cake takes this to a whole different level soft, buttery, and extra indulgent.
