Birria Tacos for Mom 🌮❤️

Made these crispy birria tacos for Mom and they did NOT disappoint 😍
Juicy, slow-cooked beef stuffed in cheesy tortillas, dipped in rich consommé, and fried until crispy… every bite is packed with flavor. Add some lime and onions on top and it’s over with 🔥
Homemade but tastes like it came straight from a food truck 🤌🏽
Birria Meat:
• 2–3 lbs beef chuck roast
• 4 dried guajillo peppers
• 2 dried ancho peppers
• 3 cloves garlic
• ½ onion
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp paprika
• Salt + pepper
• 3 cups beef broth
Blend peppers + seasonings, pour over beef, and slow cook 4–6 hours until tender. Shred.
Tacos:
• Corn tortillas
• Mozzarella or Oaxaca cheese
• Shredded birria meat
• Consommé (from broth)
Dip tortillas in broth, fill with cheese + meat, fold and fry until crispy.
Toppings:
• Chopped onion
• Cilantro
• Lime
