Strawberry banana crunch pudding

This was a dessert I made for a friend the other day! She asked for some type of strawberry crunch dessert. Let’s just say she is enjoying it so much! She can’t stop eating it!

🍓 Strawberry Banana Crunch Banana Pudding

* 2 boxes (5.1 oz) instant vanilla pudding

* 3½ cups cold milk

* 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

* 8 oz cream cheese, softened

* 2 cups heavy whipping cream

* ¾ cup powdered sugar

* 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

* 4-5 bananas, sliced

* 1 lb fresh strawberries, diced

* 2 boxes Nilla Wafers

Strawberry Crunch

* 1 package Golden Oreos, crushed

* 1 (3 oz) box strawberry Jell-O powder

* 5 tbsp melted butter

Mix the crushed Oreos, Jell-O powder, and melted butter until crumbly. Let cool completely before using.

Instructions

1. Whisk the pudding mix and cold milk together until thickened.

2. Beat the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth, then mix into the pudding.

3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla bean paste until stiff peaks form. Fold into the pudding mixture until light and fluffy.

4. Fold the diced strawberries into the pudding mixture.

5. In your serving dish, layer Nilla Wafers, pudding, banana slices, and strawberry crunch. Repeat the layers until the dish is full.

6. Finish with a thick layer of homemade whipped cream, sprinkle generously with strawberry crunch, and decorate the edges with Nilla Wafers if desired.

7. Chill for at least 6 hours, or overnight for the best flavor and texture.

In my experience, the key to this dessert’s success lies in layering: starting with a creamy banana pudding base, then adding a generous amount of fresh sliced strawberries to enhance the natural sweetness and tartness. The crunch element typically comes from crushed cookies, granola, or even toasted nuts sprinkled on top, which adds an appealing contrast to the smooth pudding. One tip I found particularly helpful is to prepare the pudding a few hours ahead of time and refrigerate it. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully, and the texture becomes even more luscious. When serving, adding a few whole strawberry slices or a mint leaf can elevate the presentation, making it visually inviting. This dessert is perfect not only for sharing with friends but also for enjoying as a light but indulgent treat after a meal. Plus, it’s versatile—you can easily customize it by swapping in your favorite berries or crunchy toppings. Whether you’re looking for a quick dessert to whip up or a make-ahead treat to impress guests, strawberry banana crunch pudding offers a delightful balance of creamy, fruity, and crunchy sensations that are sure to please anyone’s palate.
