Tea time for a gardener🫧

I really just want you guys to see how cute my mug is lmaoo.🥰

You can get Yogi pretty much anywhere. I order my mullein from IHerb(Love them down🙂‍↕️) and I don’t add sugar only honey! Since it’s medicinal I don’t think it should be sweet butttt that’s why I use the Yogi tea cause it taste and smells REALLY good🙂‍↔️

... Read moreYou know how much I love my tea time, and honestly, brewing up a warm cup is one of life's simplest pleasures. I wanted to share a bit more about why mullein tea has become such a staple in my routine. Beyond just a warm drink, it's a real herbal powerhouse! I first stumbled upon organic mullein leaf while looking for natural ways to support my respiratory health. It's truly amazing how this herbal supplement can help soothe and clear things up, especially during seasonal changes. As a gardener, I'm always looking for natural remedies and ways to connect with plants, and mullein fits right in. I always make sure to get high-quality cut and sifted organic mullein leaf, often from trusted sources like iHerb, because knowing where my herbs come from is super important to me. You can really tell the difference in the potency and flavor when you choose organic, pure quality ingredients. When I prepare my mullein tea, the ritual itself is part of the charm. I use my trusty electric kettle to heat the water to a perfect boil. Once it’s ready, I let it cool for just a minute or two before pouring it over about a teaspoon of dried mullein leaves in my favorite mug. Steeping is crucial – I usually let it sit for a good 10-15 minutes, sometimes even longer, to really extract all those beneficial compounds. Some people strain it, but I don't mind the fine particles; it feels more natural. And, as I mentioned, no sugar for me! I prefer to sweeten my tea with a spoonful of pure quality honey. Not only does it add a lovely, natural sweetness, but honey itself has fantastic soothing properties, making it a perfect partner for mullein, especially when I'm feeling under the weather. But my tea journey doesn't stop at mullein. On days when I need a little extra boost, or if I'm feeling stressed from a long day tending to my plants, I often reach for other blends. For instance, I love a good herbal tea with elderberry and lemon balm. These herbs are incredible for immune and stress support, and there are so many delicious, caffeine-free options out there. It’s comforting to know that nature provides so many wonderful ways to care for ourselves, whether it’s for a specific ailment or just daily well-being. Having a dedicated tea ritual, complete with a favorite mug (like my adorable Spongebob one!), truly elevates the experience. It’s a moment to pause, breathe, and enjoy something truly good for your body and soul. For me, it's a small act of self-care that recharges me throughout the day. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener taking a well-deserved break or just someone looking for a natural way to unwind and embrace a healthier routine, embracing the #tealifestyle can bring so much peace and wellness into your daily life. It’s all about finding those small, personal moments of joy and self-care that make everyday life a little brighter.
