FORTNITE SUCKS

... Read moreOkay, so my original post was short and to the point: 'FORTNITE SUCKS'. But let me elaborate on why I really feel that way, especially after hopping back and forth between games like Warzone. I've had so many moments lately where I just get 'ELIMINATED BY' something that feels completely unfair or random, and it makes me question if the fun is really there anymore. For me, a big part of it comes down to the core gameplay loop. In Fortnite, sometimes it feels like the build battles take precedence over actual gun skill. I get it, building is unique to Fortnite, but when every engagement turns into a towering structure being erected in milliseconds, it can get exhausting. I just want to jump in and have a good shootout, which is something I consistently find in WARZONE. The gunplay just feels more grounded and satisfying. Then there's the 'MAP'. I remember the 'OG' days of Fortnite fondly. The original 'greasy grove is the place to go' vibe was iconic, and the map had a certain charm and flow that felt really strategic. Now, even with the attempts to bring back certain elements, it just doesn't hit the same. It often feels like they're chasing nostalgia rather than innovating in a way that truly excites me. I see comments like 'NEW OG FORTNITE IT'S FUN', and I appreciate the sentiment, but my personal 'playing' experience has shifted. In contrast, Warzone offers a different kind of thrill. The tactical elements, the need for precise aim, and the constant threat of the circle closing in create an intense atmosphere that keeps me on the edge of my seat. When I'm coordinating with my squad, there's a genuine sense of 'TRUST BRO' in those clutch moments that I crave from a battle royale. Even when I'm having a rough game, I still feel like my skill, rather than just my building speed, plays a bigger role. I’ve heard the argument, 'bro warzone is dead, go play fortnite,' but honestly, I just can't agree with that based on my own experience. While both games have their merits, when it comes to what I find genuinely enjoyable and rewarding in a competitive shooter right now, I definitely 'need to stick to warzone'. It's not just about one game being inherently better than the other, but about what fits my personal gaming preferences and what delivers the most consistent fun. So yeah, for me, sometimes 'FORTNITE SUCKS' when I compare it to the experience I get elsewhere. What are your thoughts?
