Summer Beach Activities 🌅💛
Our Favorite things to do during Summer is going to the beach, we have visited many California Beaches and my kids love it! The perfect time to capture the beautiful California Sunsets & my babys, because every summer is a reminder of how much they have grown. Next summer I’ll for sure be looking back at these memories when they were alot smaller.
The golden hour at its peak,Sun-kissed,toes digging in the sand, waves kissing our feet, playing tag your it with the waves, building sand castles, finding sea shells, catching sand crab & releasing them, eating fresh fruit and munching on chips while drinking iced fresh lemonade. Yup, all of these moments are Golden for me our best moments during summer we dance with the waves 🌊🤍✨

Oh, there's truly nothing like a day spent at the beach with your loved ones! I totally get what you mean about those golden hour moments – they're just magical, aren't they? Every summer, our family looks forward to returning to our favorite California beaches, creating new stories and watching the kids grow. If you're planning your own unforgettable family beach day, here are a few things I've learned that make our trips even more special and stress-free, ensuring every moment feels just as golden as those sunsets. First off, packing smart is a game-changer. Beyond the obvious sunscreen, hats, and a pile of fluffy towels, I always make sure to bring a big beach blanket that's easy to shake sand off – trust me, it’s a lifesaver! A cooler packed with refreshing fruit, plenty of water, and those essential chips and lemonade is a must for keeping everyone energized. Don't forget a mesh bag for all the sandy toys and beautiful seashells you're bound to collect; it helps keep the car a little cleaner on the way home! A small first-aid kit is also a practical must-have for any little scrapes or minor stings. And for those precious golden hour photos, make sure your phone or camera is fully charged to capture every glowing smile! When it comes to keeping the little ones entertained, there's so much more to do than just building sandcastles, though those are definitely a staple! My kids adore exploring the beach for unique shells or cool, smooth rocks. We sometimes bring a small net and a bucket for catching (and gently releasing!) tiny sand crabs or even just digging for them, which turns into an adventurous treasure hunt. If we're feeling particularly spirited, we might seek out a beach known for its tide pools, where fascinating marine life can be observed up close. And those colorful sand toys aren't just for intricate structures; sometimes we use them to create elaborate water channels from where the waves break, which can keep them happily busy for ages. A light frisbee or a soft ball can also add to the fun, especially when you have a bit more space to play. Safety is another huge consideration for a perfect day at the beach. Always keep a close eye on the kids near the water, and teach them about currents and wave safety. Applying sunscreen regularly, especially after swimming, is crucial to protect their delicate skin. We also like to set up a central 'base camp' with an umbrella or a small pop-up tent for shade, giving us a spot to retreat from the midday sun and enjoy our snacks in comfort. And about those stunning sunsets and golden hour moments... they're truly the heart of our beach days. It's when the light is just perfect for capturing those candid shots of your kids playing, their silhouettes against the vibrant sky. Whether you're near a bustling beach with a distant city skyline or a more secluded cove perfect for exploring, the magic of the setting sun transforms the whole experience. It’s not just about the beautiful pictures; it’s about taking a moment to breathe it all in, to watch the waves kiss your feet, and to realize just how precious these fleeting childhood moments are. Every day at the beach is an opportunity to create new, beautiful memories that you'll look back on for years to come. What are your favorite beach day traditions?
