7D6N Jeju Itinerary 🇰🇷

Sharing my itinerary for my family trip to Jeju in June this year hoping it will help you if you need some inspiration planning your Jeju itinerary. We planned our trip in Jeju only to ensure that we enjoy and explore the whole island fully.

🛵 Getting Around 🛵

We rented a car for convenience as public transport and even taxis are not very well connected or easily available in areas outside of the city. Hence if you are planning to travel or venture outside the city area, I will definitely recommend renting a car or getting a driver. We booked our rental car via Lotte-Rent-a-Car at about SGD75 per day. You will require an International Driving Permit (IDP) to drive the car.

🏨 Uni Hotel Jeju - Room is big and spacious and the hotel reception was really helpful and friendly in assisting us with restaurant bookings and tour enquiries. We greatly enjoyed our stay here.

DAY 1️⃣

✈️ Flight to Jeju

🥘 Yang’s Jeju Abalone Kalguksu

🧁 Gomimi

📍 Yongduam Rock/ Yongyeon Pond

📍 Dodu Rainbow Coastal Walk

🥘 Noraba

🥘 Unidam

DAY 2️⃣

📍 Geumnenung Beach

📍 Eongal Coast

Alternatively there is a more beautiful coastal area with similar stratified cliff rock walls called Yeongmori Cliff. Entrance to Yeongmori Cliff is dependent on the tide and weather conditions. You can check the daily opening updates on 6sot_official on Instagram. We did not want to take the risk with the varied opening conditions hence opted for Eongal Coast instead.

📍 Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road

We stumbled upon this place called Haengbok Horseback Riding at the coast and decided do a horse riding activity at the coastal road. It was a short 20 minutes horseback riding experience and cost about KRW 25,000. The staff guided us around and also took many nice pictures for us. Definitely recommend this experience!

🥩 Sukseongdo Aewol

🏨 Hotel Bridge Seogwipo - The twin room that we got was a little small. The power plugs near the bed was also at a weird position right above the mattress so you have to leave your phone on the bed right beside your pillow when charging. However, this might be because we opted for two single beds instead of a queen bed. Overall, it was still a clean and cozy place to stay.

DAY 3️⃣

📍 Osulloc Tea Museum

📍 Camellia Hill Botanical Gardens

We went during the hydrangea season and it was really beautiful! The garden features different flowers at different seasons so do check which flowers are in season during the time that you are there.

📍 Cheonjeyeon Waterfall

📍 Jusangjeolli Cliff

DAY 4️⃣

🥘 Oneunjeong Kimbap - Must try! Best kimbap I had!

📍 Jeongbang Waterfall

📍 Oedolgae Sea Stack

🥘 Pungcheon Yeonga - Really delicious eel!

🧁 Cafe Tangerine Flower Attic

📍 Jeju Waterworld

The Waterworld features a series of art media installation that also incorporates some elements of water. There are certain parts where you can get fully wet while enjoying the features but there are also ‘dry paths’ available where you can skip these installations. Overall quite an enjoyable attraction that I will recommend if such art media feature is something you like!

📍 Seogwipo Olle Market

_____________________________________________

🏨 Attirance Pool & Spa - It was quite a challenge to find a nice hotel within our budget as hotels in the East Jeju area were slightly more pricey. Our stay here was pleasant as the rooms were very spacious and clean. You can also find many celebrity endorsements for the hotel at the lobby.

DAY 5️⃣

📍Udo

We took a day trip to Udo which is a small little island slightly off East Jeju accessible via a ferry. The ferry departs daily at various timings from Seongsan port. Once you alight from the ferry, you will be able to find many shops renting little cars that you can drive around the island. You will require a Motorcycle IDP license to rent the little cars but some shops do not really enforce this and will rent them to you as long as you have an IDP. Alternatively, I think there are also bicycle rental options. The island is relatively small and we took about 4 hours to tour around the whole island including stops for pictures, lunch and also dessert. There are 2 ports on Udo where you can take the return ferry with different timings and schedules. Hence do take note of the return ferry schedules which you can find at Seongsan port when you purchase the ferry tickets.

📍 Seongsan Ilchubong

DAY 6️⃣

🥖 Seogwipean Bakery

📍Seopjikoji

📍Woljeongri Beach/ Mongle

📍 Dongmun Traditional Market

🛍️ Chilsungro Street

🥘 Kingcrab Mat Jip

The crab meat was really succulent, juicy and sweet. We had one whole king crab for our family of 4 and it costed SGD 400+ for the entire meal. The crab came with lots of side dishes including grilled abalone, scallop and a seafood soup. We added on for the fried crab roe rice on the shell and it was really delicious.

DAY 7️⃣

✈️ Flight back home

Jeju-si

... Read moreApart from the must-visit spots like Camellia Hill Botanical Gardens and Jusangjeolli Cliff, don’t miss out on exploring Nuwemaru Street—a charming area perfect for a leisurely stroll with quaint cafes and local shops. If you’re curious about distances and planning smooth transit, the distance between Camellia Hill and Soesokkak Jeju is manageable by car and offers scenic views along the way, so consider stopping for photos or refreshments. For a unique natural experience, the Yeongmori Cliff is a rewarding destination, but keep in mind its opening depends heavily on tide and weather conditions, so check real-time updates on platforms like 6sot_official on Instagram. Alternatively, Eongal Coast provides similarly beautiful stratified cliff rock walls for exploration without the uncertainty. If you’re a food lover, aside from the highlighted restaurants, look for Jeju's famous street foods and markets such as Dongmun Traditional Market where fresh seafood and local treats abound. Also, visiting Honey Land can add a sweet twist to your holiday with locally produced honey and bee-related experiences. Lastly, renting a car is the most convenient way to fully enjoy Jeju beyond the city. Remember to secure your International Driving Permit (IDP) and consider driver options if you prefer not to drive. This itinerary blends scenic nature spots, cultural experiences, and amazing food discoveries to help you make the most out of your Jeju holiday.
