The properties of careless-

- Reckless in emotions (Reception of emotions is frequent, such as erotic, emotional, as long as the emotions are embedded, making it difficult to quit)
- Reckless in death.

Recklessness is frightening because it causes serious mistakes, both to oneself and to others, leading to irreparable damage because of lack of consciousness, indiscretion, carelessness, often neglect, both physically, verbally, such as dangerous driving, doing business without planning, making small mistakes that accumulate into a big deal, and Buddhism teaches that "recklessness is the way of death" (Pmatho Majuno Pt) because it causes worldly and moral decline.

The Birth of Death and Disaster: The teaching warns: "If careless at any time of death," not looking at the eyes of a horse while driving or doing anything imprudently leads to disaster.
Loss of opportunity and prosperity: Recklessness overlooks important things, such as lack of knowledge or a backup plan, when unforeseen events are seriously damaged.
Negative effects on oneself and others: Repeating mistakes (karma), body, verbal, mind (acrobatics, psychology) that negatively affect oneself and those around you.
Risk assessment mistakes: Reckless people often do not recognize the control of other things outside of themselves or do not see the importance of risk factors around them, thinking that "bad things will not happen to me."
Recklessness in a fair and legal view.
In fairness: absent-mindedness, unconscious, cautious, and recklessness, consciousness, remembrance, reflection, is more important than great merit (like an elephant's footprint).
In law: Recklessness is an unreasonable act against the standards of a discreet average person, such as drinking and driving or breaking unreasonably into an accident.
An example of an expression of recklessness.
Physically: Drive fast in curves, work without self-defense.
Verbal: Speak a lot, not ponder, improvise without thinking.
Mind: Ignore problems, think for yourself, overlook dangers.
Conclusion: Recklessness is the scariest because it is the source of disaster in all its dimensions, life, work, society, and mind, preventing us from living consciously and without damage.
ความประมาทนั้นเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่ทำให้ชีวิตหลายคนต้องเผชิญกับความสูญเสียอย่างไม่ทันตั้งตัว เคยมีครั้งหนึ่งที่ผมประมาทในการขับขี่ จนเกือบก่อให้เกิดอุบัติเหตุร้ายแรง ทำให้ตระหนักว่าเราควรต้องมีสติและความระมัดระวังในทุกช่วงเวลาของชีวิต ตามคำสอนปมาโท มจฺจุโน ปทํ ซึ่งหมายถึง "ความประมาทเป็นทางแห่งความตาย" นั้น ผมเห็นว่าการตระหนักและระมัดระวังถือเป็นเรื่องสำคัญมาก ไม่ใช่เพียงเรื่องทางกาย แต่รวมไปถึงเรื่องทางใจและการกระทำในชีวิตประจำวันด้วย เช่น การไม่ประมาทต่อการดูแลสุขภาพ ครอบครัว และความรู้สึกของตนเองและผู้อื่น จากประสบการณ์ตรง การขาดสติในขณะทำงานหรือสื่อสารกับคนรอบข้างบางครั้งก็นำไปสู่ปัญหาที่ใหญ่ขึ้น การเผลอละเลยและละทิ้งความรอบคอบส่งผลร้ายสะสมในระยะยาว ซึ่งแตกต่างจากการเมินเฉยแบบชั่วคราว แต่เป็นการบั่นทอนทั้งโอกาสและความมั่นคงในชีวิต การเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับความประมาทจึงไม่ควรหยุดที่เพียงการรับรู้ แต่ควรนำไปปฏิบัติอย่างสม่ำเสมอ พร้อมทั้งฝึกฝนจิตใจให้ตื่นตัวและพร้อมที่จะหยุดการกระทำที่จะนำมาซึ่งความเสียหาย เพื่อชีวิตที่ปลอดภัย มีความสุข และก้าวหน้าในทุกมิติ
