NV energy rate increases proposed

Nevada Residents, the NV Public Utilities Commission has a proposal to base our utility bill charges on the top 15 minutes of our daily electric use instead of actual usage. Our electric bills will increase significantly. You still have the opportunity to speak up. Share your thoughts with the Governor by calling 702-486-2500 or show up in person:

On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN) is holding its rescheduled General Consumer Session: the one time each year when we, the ratepayers, can speak directly to regulators about what these bills mean for our families, our businesses, and our future.

Join the Nevada Conservation League and our partners on Wednesday, October 22 at 6 p.m. to make your voice heard.

Together, we’ll share stories, demand fairness, and call for transparency, affordable energy, and real oversight of NV Energy and Southwest Gas.
