Just completely curious! You can either love them, hate them, like to make fun of them for it, etc., let me know!
My boyfriend is a man of many quirks. 😂 He is a big germaphobe. So, no sharing food, drinks, etc. he doesn’t like feet without socks on them at all and he never walks barefoot ever. He only likes spray deodorant. He’s the pickiest eater. And I love all of this about him. 🥰 l think it’s cute haha.
... Read moreOkay, so my post about my boyfriend's quirks really got me thinking! It's so fascinating how everyone has these little things that make them completely unique, especially in a relationship. My partner's germaphobia or his no-barefoot rule might sound odd to some, but honestly, it's just *him*. And that's what makes our relationships so special, right? We fall in love with the whole package, quirks and all!
It got me wondering about other common 'weird habits' that partners often have. Maybe your significant other has a super specific sleeping ritual – like needing exactly three pillows, or always sleeping on a certain side of the bed, even when you swap places? Or perhaps their eating habits are a bit peculiar, like dunking everything in ketchup, or having a strange food combination they swear by. I've heard of partners who organize their fridge by color, or who have an uncanny ability to find exactly one sock that doesn't match in the laundry pile every single time.
Sometimes these little traits are totally harmless and even adorable, adding a unique flavor to your daily life. They become inside jokes or sweet routines. For example, my boyfriend’s spray deodorant preference is just a funny little detail I’ve come to expect. You know, these are the ‘traits’ that make up the rich tapestry of who a person is. They’re not just habits; they’re little windows into their personality and comfort zones.
But let's be real, sometimes these 'quirks' can border on mildly annoying! 😂 Like the partner who leaves their socks *everywhere*, or the one who can't stand silence and always needs background noise. Or maybe they have a 'weird quirk' about cleanliness – either being meticulously tidy to an extreme, or, well, the complete opposite! The key, I think, is how we perceive them. Can we embrace these 'oddities' as part of what makes our loved ones, well, *them*? It’s part of the fun of sharing your life with someone. From the "Q&A" on Lemon8, I’ve seen so many people share stories that make me laugh out loud and nod in understanding!
Think about it: what are some 'weird quirks, traits, or habits that your partner has' that you initially found surprising, but now you wouldn't trade for anything? Or maybe some that still make you scratch your head? I'm genuinely curious! It's interesting to see how these small, often unconscious, actions become part of the fabric of our shared lives. They can spark conversations, create funny memories, and even highlight how much we adapt to and love the people closest to us.
So, come on, spill the tea! What are those unique partner habits that stick out in your mind? Let's keep this #letschat going and share all those delightful, peculiar, and sometimes baffling 'weird habits' that make our partners truly one-of-a-kind. I can't wait to read your stories and see what other funny 'quirks' are out there!
Omgosh are we married to the same guy!!! lol. The barefoot thing, i get scolded for that, he's very pricky with his food, he don't like to be around germs that includes germy kids. He keeps his car super clean.. But don't like to pick up his socks from the bedroom floor. 🤨🤭. He makes the bed I give him that. Hehe
He talks to himself. Mostly when no one is looking. Like a full conversation really. I caught it a lot of the nanny cams. I was both concerned and intrigued. He actually mentioned it to be voluntarily that he does that. Is he crazy? Hmmmm
