No Revenge .. ❤️‍🔥🥀

When someone hurt me deeply, my initial reaction was anger and a desire for payback. But over time, I realized that revenge wouldn't heal my wounds — instead, it would trap me in a cycle of pain and bitterness. Healing requires courage, as highlighted in the reflections like "I've been working on healing and that takes courage that you struggle to find." It means acknowledging the hurt without allowing it to define your worth or dictate your actions. For me, embracing kindness, even when it's difficult, has been transformative. The idea that "no revenge because you really needed the love and kindness I gave you" reminds us that compassion can be more powerful than retaliation. Another important realization is setting boundaries and valuing oneself enough to say, "I don't do revenge. Just the fact that you don't have access to me is enough." This emphasizes how protecting your peace is a form of strength. I also learned to forgive myself for tolerating circumstances that didn’t serve me well, as that line, "I owe myself the biggest apology for putting up with shit I don't deserve," suggests. Self-forgiveness is an essential step in moving forward with dignity. Ultimately, rejecting revenge in favor of healing nurtures emotional freedom and self-love. It allows us to grow beyond hurt and build a more peaceful, positive future. Sharing this journey encourages others to find their own strength in healing rather than revenge.
