Tom Ford: White Suede
Unbox with me.
This is a classic scent, very linear imo. Great to pair with an all denim look & suede boots.
What sticks out to me with this frag: it's powdery, with a kick of musk and sandalwood. Very unisex & imo masculine leaning.
Have y'all tested this one?
Would you recommend it?
pls head over to my ig to see what I stayed with this fragrance :)

Stepping into the world of luxury fragrances with a fresh unboxing is always a treat, and my recent experience with Tom Ford White Suede was no exception. There's something incredibly satisfying about peeling back the layers of packaging to reveal a new bottle, especially from a house as renowned as Tom Ford. The initial spray, fresh from the box, always gives you that pure, unadulterated first impression. From the moment I first wore it, White Suede struck me as a masterclass in subtlety and sophistication. Many people wonder, 'what does suede smell like?' In this fragrance, it’s not a dusty, old leather; it's a soft, supple, almost creamy suede – like the inside of a pristine, high-end handbag. It's truly linear, as I mentioned, meaning the core character of the scent stays with you from top to bottom, which I actually appreciate when I'm looking for a consistent vibe. It opens with that distinctive, velvety suede note, quickly joined by a delicate powderiness that adds a touch of elegance without being old-fashioned. This isn't a blast of floral powder; it's more like a finely milled cosmetic powder, blending seamlessly with the suede. Then comes the musk. This isn't an aggressive, animalic musk, but rather a clean, slightly warm, and inviting one that enhances the skin-like quality of the suede. The sandalwood provides a smooth, creamy base, preventing the scent from becoming too dry or sharp. It adds a grounding warmth that makes the fragrance feel complete and utterly luxurious. For me, this combination gives it a definite masculine lean, even though it's marketed as unisex. It's got a certain understated confidence that, for example, pairs incredibly well with a crisp, all-denim outfit and perfectly polished suede boots, just as I styled it. It's not loud; it whispers sophistication. Many ask if Tom Ford White Suede is truly unisex, and while scents are subjective, I personally find its deep, leathery-musky warmth to be very appealing for men, perhaps even more so than for women seeking a traditionally feminine scent. However, for a woman who loves a sophisticated, non-sweet, and confident aroma, it's absolutely stunning. It’s a scent that feels mature and self-assured, transcending fleeting trends. It doesn't scream for attention but leaves a memorable, refined trail. It’s the kind of perfume that makes you feel put-together and effortlessly chic without trying too hard. If you're considering a Tom Ford unboxing, this one offers a unique olfactory journey that is both comforting and distinctive. It's definitely an Eau de Parfum (EDP), and its longevity is impressive, easily lasting 6-8 hours on my skin, with a moderate sillage that keeps it intimate yet noticeable.
