The Most Beautiful Combo!
Layering starts in the shower for me! Side note - I use a cleansing bar soap, African wash cloth, & exfoliating scrub before applying any scented shower gel.
I also mix my lotion with a vanilla/tuberose oil by TPH (not pictured here) or cocoa butter baby oil/gel!
Was in the mood for musk and creamy sandalwood- this combo did it! Nice nightcap scent!
Would love to hear your layering recommendations!

Fragrance layering is a popular trend that allows you to create unique scent profiles tailored to your personal preferences. One can start layering even in the shower by choosing a cleansing routine that sets the stage for fragrance. For instance, using cleansing bar soap, an African washcloth, and exfoliating scrubs enhances skin texture and absorbs fragrances better. In this layering process, the combination of lotion with oil can enhance hydration while delivering lasting scents. Mixing a vanilla or tuberose oil with a rich body lotion, like cocoa butter, adds depth and creaminess to your layered scent. This not only moisturizes your skin but also retains the scent longer. Musk and sandalwood offer a unique blend that can serve as a perfect 'nightcap scent' for winding down after a long day. Musk adds warmth and sensual notes, while creamy sandalwood brings a tranquil and smooth element that complements various personality types. When experimenting, always consider your environment and the occasion; some scents may be more suitable for casual outings, while others might be perfect for formal events. Furthermore, sharing layering tips and tricks within the community can provide valuable insights into what works best. Users can discuss the best products like Bath & Body Works or other beauty brands that focus on fragrances. Engaging with tags such as #fragrancecollection, #muskperfume, #cashmerevanilla, and #sandalwood can help you discover trending products and pairings that others enjoy. Ultimately, layering fragrances is about expressing yourself and finding combinations that resonate with you, creating a signature scent that remains memorable in any interaction.
