Roadtrip day 5
We decided to only spend one day in Nashville. We drove to Indianapolis. We were so tired we slept through the free hotel breakfast. So we ate breakfast at Café Patachou. It was decent but pricey. I had a yogurt bowl and a slice of lemon poppyseed bread.
I didn’t take very many pictures this day but we had to check out monument circle. It is such a beautiful statue and so big. I also included a picture of the view from our parking garage. We didn’t end up doing too much this day because it rained all day :(
Stay tuned for day 6!

On this fifth day of our road trip, we made the most of our quick visit to Indianapolis, a city known for its rich history and vibrant culture. Although we missed the complimentary hotel breakfast, the meal at Café Patachou, famed for its delicious breakfast options, was a highlight. The yogurt bowl, paired with a lemon poppyseed bread, was refreshing, although it came with a higher price tag. Monument Circle, a central hub in Indianapolis, is a must-see destination. This impressive landmark showcases beautiful architecture and serves as a gathering place for both locals and visitors. Despite the rainy weather, our visit to see the statue was memorable. We could also capture stunning views from the parking garage, which provided a different perspective of the bustling city.
