Date idea: couple photoshoot!
I recently did a photoshoot for my sister and her boyfriend. They were wanting to get some pics to print out and hang in their home. I’m not a professional at all. I just enjoy taking photos for fun. All of these were taken on my IPhone 11 Pro Max. I also just edited the exposure and highlights in the IPhone photo app. We went to a park that was close by and took photos an hour before sunset.
My sister had a lot of fun doing these photos so I suggest all couples check out doing a photoshoot together. It doesn’t have to be anything officially. You can find a friend to take photos on their phone for you. It’s fun to just get dressed up and try out new poses.
This is great especially if you don’t have tons of photos together!
Here is a list of couple poses:
- hugs from the back
- classic kiss pic
- walking towards the camera
- walking away from the camera
- one backwards, one forwards
- silhouette
- look into each others eyes
- the face smoosh
- silly pics

Couple photoshoots are a fantastic way to capture unique moments with your partner. Whether you're looking for pictures to decorate your home or simply want to document your relationship journey, there's no need for professional photography skills. Using your smartphone camera, you can achieve stunning results with just a bit of creativity and planning. Experiment with poses like hugs from the back, walking towards the camera, or the playful face smoosh. Consider the silhouette shots during the golden hour for a romantic background. Additionally, don't forget to include candid moments, as these can often lead to the best memories. When preparing for your couple photoshoot, think about outfits that complement each other and consider the location that reflects your shared interests. Parks, beaches, or urban backdrops can all be perfect settings. Also, encourage each other to try out new poses and embrace the fun spirit of the shoot. Remember, selfies and candid pictures can be just as beautiful as formal poses. Enjoy your time together and capture your love with joy and creativity!
