My loc Inspo ✨*what I wanted vs. what I had

I combed out my locs and I don’t regret it. I’ve had locs for about 2 year and I combed them out because they weren’t what I wanted I know that it’s my fault for the way they look I continued to dye my hair even tho I was advised not to. I’m done with damaging my hair. This my inspo for the next 2 years as I restart my loc journey . I know I will reach my goals‼️‼️

... Read moreMy honest experience with combing out my locs taught me so much, especially about avoiding common mistakes. While I regret dyeing my hair during my last loc journey, I'm excited for this restart, and I want to share some tips that I've picked up and what I'm looking forward to for my upcoming locs! Finding Your Perfect Loc Style Inspiration One of the most exciting parts of a loc journey is exploring the endless possibilities for loc styles. My previous journey was a learning curve, but now I'm armed with so much loc inspiration to ensure my next set is exactly what I envision. I’m looking at everything from elegant updo loc styles for medium hair to playful half up half down locs hairstyles. The images I’ve saved, like those with dark locs styled in pigtails or pulled into a ponytail, really help me visualize what I want. Don't be afraid to experiment with different looks! Whether you're after cute loc styles for women that are simple and chic, or something more intricate with bouncy curls, there’s a style out there for everyone. I've also seen some gorgeous loc bangs women can rock, adding a soft frame to the face. Navigating Your Loc Journey: Tips from My Experience If you're just starting or restarting your loc journey like me, preparation is key. My biggest lesson? As I mentioned, if you want to dye your hair, do it before you loc up! It’s much healthier for your hair and foundation. I learned the hard way that continuous dyeing on existing locs can lead to damage and dryness, which eventually contributed to me combing out my previous set of locs that had lighter, possibly dyed ends. Beyond dyeing, consistent maintenance is crucial for beautiful loc styles for women. This means regular washing, moisturizing, and retwists or interlocks to keep those neat partings defined. For those days when you need a quick refresh but don't want to retwist, quick loc styles no retwist are lifesavers. Simple buns, braided sections, or even just styling your dark locs, styled down with some accessories can make a huge difference. I'm personally looking forward to trying more elaborate hairstyles for long locs women once my hair grows out, but for now, I'm focusing on nurturing my new growth. Exploring Different Loc Types and Lengths There's such a variety of locs hairstyles out there! You might be wondering about invisible locs short for a lighter feel, or perhaps medium length loc styles for women which offer a great balance between manageability and styling versatility. Don't forget to look at inspiration for different stages of your locs – what works for short locs might be different for long locs. The goal is to find what makes you feel confident and beautiful. My journey has taught me that it’s all about patience and self-love, embracing each stage as your locs mature. I'm so excited to share more of my progress and the loc inspiration I find along the way!

Love all of these but don’t waste your time overthinking it. The first girl has lock extensions. They don’t make sense to compare yourself to her.
