Phyla Honest Review🌱
I got a chance to try a few of Phyla’s products after seeing them around lemon8🍋.
I don’t normally try new skincare products because if it’s not broke don’t fix it but this was a nice incorporation into my routine. Loveeeee the serum seriously💋.

Okay, so I've been seeing Phyla skincare popping up everywhere on my feed, especially for acne, and as someone who's always been a bit reluctant to mess with a skincare routine that 'isn't broke,' I was cautiously optimistic. My main motivation? Those stubborn breakouts that just wouldn't quit, no matter what I tried. I finally decided to dive in and put their full system, including the much-talked-about Phyla Phortify Phage Serum, Phresh Gel Cleanser, and Phluff Moisturizer, to the test. First up, let's talk about the star of the show for me: the Phyla Phortify Phage Serum. Honestly, this stuff is a game-changer. I gave it a solid 10/10, and it genuinely earned that score. The OCR mentioned a 'PHUCK ACNE' sticker, and truly, that's how I felt after using it! I've tried countless serums for my acne, but this phage serum actually delivered on its promise of stopping pimples in their tracks. It has a lightweight, almost watery consistency that absorbs quickly without any sticky residue. Within just a few days, I noticed a dramatic reduction in active breakouts, and my skin felt calmer. It seemed to work by gently targeting acne-causing bacteria without stripping my skin, which is a huge plus for someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin like mine. If you're looking for something that genuinely tackles bothersome breakouts, this is where to start. Now, onto the Phyla Phresh Gel Cleanser. The OCR noted my initial rating was a 4/10, and I still stand by that for its specific consistency. It's a very thin gel that doesn't foam much, which initially left me feeling like it wasn't really *cleansing*. Compared to other gel cleansers I've used, this one felt a bit too mild for my preference. While it didn't irritate my skin or leave it feeling tight, I personally prefer a cleanser that gives me a more 'clean' feeling. It's gentle, which is good, but if you have extremely sensitive skin and need something super mild, it might be perfect for you, especially as part of the Phyla acne system. Next, the Phyla Phluff Moisturizer, which doubles as an anti-blemish moisturizer. I rated this an 8/10. The OCR mentioned it takes time to rub in completely, and that's accurate. It's a white cream that feels quite nourishing, but you definitely need to take your time to ensure it's fully absorbed, especially if you're layering makeup afterward. Once it's in, my skin felt incredibly soft and hydrated, without any greasy residue. Crucially, it didn't feel heavy or contribute to any new breakouts, which is a common issue for me with new moisturizers. It played its part well in keeping my skin balanced and calm alongside the serum. One crucial tip I learned, confirmed by the OCR, is the '3-minute timer' rule. After applying the Phage Serum, it's advised to wait three minutes before moving on to the moisturizer. This waiting period is essential, as it allows the powerful ingredients in the serum to fully penetrate and work their magic without being diluted or interfered with by the next product. Incorporating this small but important step into my Phyla skincare routine really made a difference in the serum's effectiveness. Overall, after a week with the Phyla skincare system, my skin felt significantly clearer and more balanced. While the cleanser wasn't my absolute favorite, the Phage Serum is a genuine standout for anyone struggling with acne and breakouts. The Phluff Moisturizer also impressed me with its hydrating yet non-comedogenic properties. If you're tired of conventional acne treatments and curious about a phage-based approach, giving Phyla a try, especially their serum, could be a game-changer for your skin health. It's definitely a system I'm excited to continue using to see those longer-term phyla skincare reviews results!
