I Don’t Like 🍋8 So Far, Here’s Why…

They aren’t pushing smaller creator content. I get views on my post, but little to no engagement. I see plenty other creators with the same issues.

I engage with every post that I end up clicking on, because the creator actually grabbed my attention. Maybe my content isn’t engagement worthy, that’s fine for now. This isn’t only about me though, I have certainly clicked on many viral worthy post that only had 4 likes after being up for quite some time.

At first I also blamed the app being new and people barely using it, but then I started seeing post with engagement and thought WOW!

Maybe it’s me. Maybe the content I like to see and think is viral worthy is boring to majority of everyone else.

This app has so much potential. They are doing great at pushing this app on TikTok. I joined because I kept getting notifications people were following me & I didn’t even have an account.

When I finally gave in and created one I already had 39 followers!! Shoutout to yall 🩷🩷

It’s only been a week so I’m not giving up on this app, just wanted to let yall know how I felt so far. Also I appreciate everyone who has followed, liked, comments, saved, and viewed anything over here in Jades World ❤️ #thoughtsonlemon8 #tryingtogrowmyaccount #creatorstruggles #blackgirllemon8

... Read moreAs a new user on Lemon8, many creators are experiencing similar challenges regarding engagement. Despite gaining views, it's common to see little interaction, leading to frustration. This indicates a potential gap in how the app currently promotes content. With many users relying on social media apps for visibility, it's crucial for Lemon8 to enhance algorithm reforms that prioritize smaller creators. Useful traffic often comes from organic engagement, and creators are encouraged to connect authentically. As the platform grows, embracing diverse content ideas will enable improved interaction. Exploring trending topics across other platforms can inspire users to create posts that resonate with the broader audience. Strategies like collaborating with other creators, participating in themed challenges, and utilizing hashtags effectively can significantly uplift the visibility of your content. Engaging authentically within the Lemon8 community while recognizing user feedback can also harness better interaction and expand follower bases. While early frustrations are common, nurturing these initial connections and promoting creative interests can foster a positive environment for all users on the platform.

I didn’t think loving someone could feel this lonely. From the outside, everything looks okay, but emotionally it feels like I’m always reaching and he’s always guarded. Some days I tell myself I’m just overthinking. Other days I feel it so clearly that something is missing not love, but emotional
