What was the weather in Jamaica? December 2024✨
Baby it was hot for December, I am truly terrified to find out what it would be like in the summer heat. Of our 5 day trip it was 1 day that was windy. I won’t wear another wig there I can tell you that!

Having traveled to Jamaica in December myself, I can share that the island generally enjoys warm, pleasant weather during this month, making it an ideal winter escape. While the temperatures are comfortably warm, usually ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s Fahrenheit (around 24-29°C), the humidity is lower than in summer months, so it feels less oppressive. One thing to keep in mind is that December can sometimes be breezy, especially near the coast, which is refreshing but means lighter clothing or a windbreaker might be useful, especially in the evenings. During my trip, I also found that the sunshine was ample, perfect for outdoor activities like beach lounging, exploring local markets, or enjoying watersports. If you're like me and sensitive to heat or have delicate hair, going without wigs might be more comfortable due to the humidity and occasional wind. Overall, December provides a sweet spot between pleasant warmth and manageable humidity, making Jamaica a fantastic destination to escape colder climates while still enjoying lots of sunshine and vibrant local culture. Planning for this mild warmth helped me pack smart and make the most of my 5-day stay.
