I’m in Architectural Digest France! 😭😭
I am beyond excited to share that Living Bright Interiors has been featured in Architectural Digest France! When I first became a designer, it was my ultimate dream to one day see my name “Crystal Bright” be published in AD, and now that dream has come true. Our modern reimagining of the conversation pit was highlighted, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this milestone. Thank you, AD France, for the honor!
This article highlights a conversation around conversation pits, something I speak about in several articles on my blog.

Being recognized by a publication as esteemed as Architectural Digest France truly feels like reaching a pinnacle in the design world. It’s a moment that makes all the years of hard work, late nights sketching, and countless client consultations worth it. When you dream of seeing your work in such an iconic magazine, you imagine the prestige, but the actual experience is so much more profound – it’s a validation of your vision and a huge motivator to push creative boundaries even further. What made this feature extra special was their focus on my modern reinterpretation of the conversation pit. For me, these spaces are more than just a design trend; they're an intentional return to human connection. In our increasingly digital world, creating a dedicated 'technology-free space for face-to-face interaction' feels incredibly vital. Imagine a cozy, circular sunken seating area, maybe with vibrant orange cushions, inviting spontaneous conversation and genuine presence. It’s about crafting environments that encourage people to put down their phones, look each other in the eye, and truly engage. When designing this particular conversation pit, the goal was to blend classic comfort with contemporary aesthetics. We envisioned seamless wooden walls that cocoon the space, a large bookshelf filled with inspiring reads, and even a skylight above to bathe the area in natural light. These elements work together to create an intimate yet expansive feeling, a sanctuary within a larger home. It’s a space where memories are made, stories are shared, and laughter echoes. If you're an aspiring designer, or even just someone passionate about creating soulful spaces, my biggest advice is to stay true to your unique design philosophy. Trends come and go, but authentic vision resonates. This feature in Architectural Digest France isn't just about a beautiful room; it's about the story behind it, the intention to foster connection, and the belief that design can profoundly enhance our lives. It’s a wonderful reminder that sometimes, the most impactful designs are those that encourage us to simply be together.

That is such an amazing accomplishment! 🍋❤️ So glad your efforts have come this far!
